Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

This policy covers the Easy Fax website and web app at easyfaxapp.co. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before launch and kept in sync with the services and sub-processors actually in use.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lunapark Medya İnternet Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Easy Fax”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), the operator of the Easy Fax service, collects, uses, stores, and shares the personal information you provide when you use our website and web application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create and identify your account.
  • Fax content. The documents you upload to send, the faxes you receive, and any cover-sheet details you enter (recipient and sender names, fax numbers, subject, and message).
  • Fax numbers. Destination numbers you send to, and any fax number you obtain to receive faxes.
  • Payment information. Subscription purchases are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are entered on and handled by Stripe — we do not collect or store your full card number. We receive limited billing data such as subscription status and the last digits/brand of your card.
  • Usage and device data. Standard log and device information (such as IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service) used for security, diagnostics, and improvement.

2. How Your Documents Are Stored and Transmitted

Unlike a purely on-device app, the Service is cloud-based. When you send a fax, your document is uploaded to and stored on our cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) and transmitted to the recipient through our telecommunications partners. Faxes you receive on a fax number are stored in your account so you can view them. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are retained for the period described in “Data Retention” below.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Service — send and receive faxes, and manage your fax number(s).
  • To create and secure your account and authenticate you.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (via Stripe).
  • To send you service-related notifications and respond to support requests.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
  • To analyze and improve the Service.

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share information with the third-party processors needed to operate the Service, only to the extent necessary and under their respective privacy and security terms:

  • Amazon Web Services — cloud hosting and document storage.
  • SignalWire — fax number provisioning and inbound faxes.
  • Phaxio — outbound fax transmission.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Google — sign-in / authentication.

We may also disclose information as required by law (for example to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process), where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect rights, safety, or to investigate fraud, in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice as required), or with your consent. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Fax documents are purged on a retention window after delivery; faxes stored in your account remain until you delete them or close your account.

6. Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Questions about security can be sent to support@easyfaxapp.co.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in — it holds your session token and a device identifier used for sign-in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your account information in the app or request changes by contacting us. To exercise your rights, email support@easyfaxapp.co.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Contact
